A Word From The Author

Why You Should Read This Book

This book is not designed to make the reader comfortable, it is not designed to convince the reader of anything, it is designed to help the reader understand diversity, equity, and inclusion issues from the perspective of people of color. It is meant to make readers uncomfortable, to question their beliefs, and examine how they arrive at those beliefs. This book is designed to make readers self-reflect on the role they play to reinforce the indoctrination of America's Power Culture. It is a conversation piece to peel away and start honest dialogue.
